In 2012, the Czech light and projection festival VZÁŘÍ, which is held in the city of Olomouc, invited WERC to participate in their building-mapping competition.
WERC accepted the invitation and was assigned the Olomouc City Hall building. Musician Freddie 43 provided the music for this project. WERC designed a building-mapping that not only emphasized the all-round expertise of the collective, but also investigated the entire concept of a building-mapping.
With their building-mapping, in which physical and digital visuals were combined and the commercialization of projection mapping was challenged, WERC convinced the jury and won the competition.
